How do I connect to my Immich server?

Launch the app on your Apple TV and sign in with your self-hosted Immich server URL. You can use either email/password authentication or an API key. The app connects directly to your Immich server - no data is sent to our servers.

Can I use multiple Immich accounts?

Yes, the app supports multiple accounts. You can add, switch, and remove user accounts from the settings.

What are the system requirements?

You need an Apple TV (4th generation or later) running tvOS 15.0 or later, and a self-hosted Immich server accessible on your network (either locally or via the internet). The app requires network connectivity to your Immich server to function.

How do I configure the Top Shelf?

In the app settings, you can choose between carousel or sectioned style for the Top Shelf, and select whether to show recent or random photos.

Does the app support video playback?

Yes, the app includes a native video player for video assets in your Immich library.

How do I delete my account?

You can remove accounts directly from the app settings at any time. Since all account data is stored locally on your Apple TV device, removing an account from the app immediately deletes all associated connection information. If you need assistance, contact us at privacy@adriank.app.

Note: Removing an account from the app only deletes the locally stored connection information. Your photos, videos, and account on your Immich server remain unchanged and are controlled entirely by you through your Immich server.

Privacy and Data

Immich Viewer is a client-only application. All your photos, videos, and media content remain on your self-hosted Immich server. The app only stores connection information (server URL and authentication credentials) locally on your Apple TV device. No data is transmitted to our servers.
